Streamtime Studio Management Software and Project Management System the new industry standard
Particle Systems are the team behind Streamtime — a job tracking and client information solution that has become the industry standard for running design and creative companies across Australasia.
By combining industry knowledge and innovative technology with an award-winning interface they have built a solution which manages to get creative people to actually complete details— improving the accuracy and efficiency of workflows within their clients’ businesses. With an office in Sydney and London and clients across North America, Europe and Asia, Streamtime is starting to get real global momentum with their main goal being World Domination!
The origins of the product lay in trying to find an effective solution for use within New Zealand’s pre-press and digital print industry. Finding none, they designed and built their own, partnering with an advertising and design firm to create Streamtime. "Most companies are crying out for the tools to manage their business - it's great to be able to show them what we've learned, and then provide the solution", Managing Director Aaron Green says.
Highlights over the past twelve months or so include being named Canterbury’s fastest growing technology company, and 26th fastest growing company (out of all business categories) in the country in the 2007 Unlimited Deloitte Fast 50, opening their London office in April 2008, winning the Solid Energy Emerging Exporter of the year two years running at the Canterbury Export awards(2007 and 2008), and this year also being named as joint exporter of the year for small – medium sized businesses in Canterbury.
This strong growth is fuelled by a commitment to intensive advertising and promotion within the creative sector— partnering with the right industry publications and sponsoring major creative/ design awards and events in each Market. In Australia and New Zealand these include: The Desktop Create Awards, AWARD, the Best Design Awards, Powerhouse Museum Sydney Design 2008, and hosting the Helvetica movie in Christchurch. Well aware that Streamtime is a great solution that can greatly improve efficiency and profitability within a creative business, Particle are doing what it takes to make sure that prospective clients know as well.
As they have grown internationally, Particle Systems has put people in place selling to and supporting customers around the globe, however all the development continues to be done here in Christchurch. They work closely and collaboratively with a number of other Canterbury based software firms and as part of the Christchurch software development community regularly host meetings of the local Filemaker Users Group.
